About MathTape

MathTape is a set of free, fast calculators for the everyday math of money, shopping, school and health.

Why we built it

Most calculator sites give you a number and nothing else. We wanted each answer to come with its working: the formula, the breakdown, and a worked example you can check with a pencil. If you understand where a number comes from, you can trust it, question it, and use it to make a better decision.

How we check our calculators

• Each calculator uses a standard, published formula, such as the fixed-rate amortization formula for loans or the CDC adult categories for BMI.
• We test every calculator against hand-worked examples, including the ones shown on each page.
• Guides are reviewed regularly and carry a "last reviewed" date. When rules or common practice change, we update them.

Who runs MathTape

MathTape is built and maintained by Ace 360 Solutions, a web design and marketing studio based in Lahore, Pakistan. We design the calculators, write the guides and keep the site running.
